Shipping Information

What shipping services do you use?  We ship using FedEx Ground, 2 Day Express and Overnight.  USPS is used for PO Boxes & APO addresses.

FedEx Home Delivery Service
Our default shipping method is FedEx Home Delivery. Orders shipped using Home Delivery service will arrive in 2 – 6 business days depending on how far it has to travel. Allow 7-14 days outside of the continental US. Saturday delivery is available with FedEx Ground shipping for residential addresses only. Specific delivery dates are not guaranteed when using Ground service.

FedEx 2 Day Service
Orders shipped using 2 Day Service will arrive in 2-3 business days. There is no Express delivery on weekends or holidays. If you order on a Thursday, Friday, or within one day of a holiday, we will not ship your order until Monday unless you call to tell us otherwise. Please note that the day the package is shipped does not count as one of the “2 Days.” (For example, packages shipped 2-Day on Monday will arrive Wednesday)

FedEx Overnight Service
This method is always available and encouraged during the warmer months. Orders will be shipped overnight and guaranteed to arrive by 7pm the following day, not counting weekends. There is no Express delivery on Sundays or holidays. Early morning and Saturday delivery is available in limited areas, by request, at an additional charge. Please call/email us for more information on this service or to schedule delivery.

How soon will my order ship? 
If you have not requested a specific delivery date your order will ship within 48 hours of placing it, or on the next available ship date.  We ship Monday through Thursday.  If your order is received after 2pm on a Thursday, it will ship on the following Monday. If you are unsure about shipping times please see the map below, or give us a call at 800-344-9773 for more information.

Can you ship chocolate during warm weather?
Yes, we can.  We monitor the temperatures around the country and use frozen gel packs and insulated packaging when necessary to ensure that your gift arrives in perfect condition and at no additional cost to you. Gel packs are effective for 48 hours, so they must travel no longer than 2 days. If you are shipping outside of the 2 day zone, you may be required to choose 2 Day or Overnight Express shipping. See map below to determine travel zones.

Can I ship to a PO Box?  APO/FPO?  College Dorm?
Yes, we accept orders to P.O. Box and to APO/FPO addresses. Orders shipped to a P.O. Box are shipped using USPS Priority Mail. We regret that we cannot offer our express shipping options for these types of addresses. Should you require either of these services, please give us a call.

Can I ship to more than one person on one order?
Our website is currently unable to split an order and send to several shipping addresses. However, if you have a lengthy list, you may call us and a customer service representative will assist you in placing your order.

Will I receive an order confirmation?
An order receipt will be sent immediately to your email address after placing your order. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order number, order total and shipping address within two hours of placing your order. Please review this information as soon as possible to ensure all addresses and items are correct. If you need to make any changes to your order, contact us at 800-344-9773

Will I receive a shipping confirmation?
When your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation including the tracking number for each shipment.

Do you ship out of the country?
Due to the perishability of our product, we do not ship outside the United States. 

Incorrect addresses may delay shipment.
Your order may be subject to additional charges for address correction or forwarding by shipping services. Please be sure to double check your shipping address for accuracy before finalizing your order. 

  • The full name of the primary recipient (nicknames & additional family names can go on gift cards)
  • Business name, name of college etc.
  • Apartment, Unit or Suite number (Please specify.)
  • Phone Number of recipient (Only used by Fed Ex in case the driver need more detailed delivery information. We do not engage in any telemarketing.

Please note that we are not responsible for misdirected packages due to misinformation provided on shipping address form.

  • We suggest that you ship to business addresses whenever possible. There is usually someone available to sign for the package and deliveries tend to be made earlier in the day. When shipping to your home address, if there is no one available to sign for the package, it may be left outside and subject to weather, thievery or animals.

Shipping & Handling Costs:
Charges for for FedEx Ground, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx 2Day shipping and FedEx Overnight Express will be automatically calculated based on the shipping zipcode. 

Shipping charges apply separately to each shipping address.

While we will always do our best to get your package to its destination on the day you request, there are no guarantees, only estimates. For important events in a time-crunch, 2-Day or Overnight Express shipping is the best option.
